Bon Jovi at the Tokyo Hard Rock Cafe

I was stationed in Japan in the late 80s with the US Navy. We were in Tokyo at the Hard Rock Cafe eating a VERY expensive dinner (The Yen was very strong against the dollar at that time...) and suddenly Bon Jovi -- the whole band -- came down a set of stairs from an obvious VIP area. They were all high as kites and utterly uninterested in talking to anyone.
