My Brush with Greatness is the definitive record of what celebrities are really like when you meet them in person.

We believe that everyone deserves to know whether their favorite celebrity is genuinely kind or just playing a role. Our community shares real stories from real encounters — no gossip, no rumors, just firsthand accounts.

How It Works

When you meet a celebrity, share your story on My Brush with Greatness. Rate them on four personality traits — politeness, coolness, approachability, and humor — and your ratings feed into the Celebrity Niceness Index, a crowd-sourced score that shows who the nicest celebrities really are.

The Niceness Index

The Celebrity Niceness Index averages all four trait ratings across every encounter to produce a single score from 1 to 5. Celebrities need at least three encounters to appear on the leaderboard, keeping the data honest.

Community Guidelines

We ask that all stories be truthful, respectful, and based on firsthand experience. Fabricated stories, harassment, and hate speech are not tolerated and will be removed by our moderation team.
